My older son (now 23) loved Perry the Platypus when he was younger. I still have all of his Perry T shirts, I don't want to get rid of them because they were part of him. He will still watch Phineas and Ferb from time to time, but not with the same zeal as he did when he was 9 or 10. Such a beautiful essay, thanks for sharing.
