No likes a desperate woman. I know I was one myself always looking for love, then staying in relationships that didn't make any sense....guys w/ no job, on drugs, alcohol, and long distance. I had three intense relationships when young. My college boyfriend quit college and joined the Marines and was sent to Vietnam. (He came back alive, but he wasn't the boy I had known.)
2 more five yr live ins followed.
Here's the thing....it happens when least expected.
Now is all we have. Celebrate life each day and someday your prince may come.
grass is always greener on the other side. dear, dont worry. in india, there is a saying - the one who consumes marriage laddu (Indian sweet ball) regrets and so does the one who does not consume it. there is nothing called true love in this world-the one only exhibited by a mother to her child (selfless love). its better to be a happy single than an unhappy wife. have u ever thought that there is a legal way to separate in marriage called divorce while no such term exists in any other relationship. its a brutal blow of life. cherish the days u r far away from this trauma. i envy ur travel diaries....wish i had that much money to indulge in such pleasures.
I agree with Dianne, stop looking and act like you could care less if you ever meet a guy. God will send your mate in HIS time. He already knows how your story ends.
