This happened to my ex-boyfriend who wore a Saint Christopher medallion, a gift to him from his beloved grandmother. It didn't travel exactly as yours did, but he lost it many times over the course of our five year relationship: playing baseball, refereeing high school sports, etc. It magically appeared every time..... tucked deep inside a pocket....like a small miracle.
Sweet story. Fun read. Love the connections made between a single object and identity as it evolves throughout a young person's formative years. Well done.
Funny how things that we need come back to us. Thanks so much for sharing.
Beautifully written with a pinch of wryness. I found my breath catching while reading the last field paragraph.
That is one delightful story. Love it.
Love can’t be lost. Perhaps, your initial mailbox-delivery method foretold of an endless “return to sender” protection.
I love that--very poetic!
Lavalier?
Love this one. I feel so hopeful right now. Thank you.
Great story. Some things can never be explained.
