Thank you for sharing this vulnerable story. So often, I don’t think our culture sees teachers, especially of younger children, as regular people with adult issues. I used to teach elementary and always felt like I was expected to be a perfect angle outside of school. Separately, fifth graders are awesome! Still young enough to semi think you are awesome but old enough to have great learning and conversations happen!
