Wow, kudos to you for your adventurous, open-minded, and brave spirit! I admire you younger generation of women who have dreams and the will to pursue them, conquer the world, and explore a myriad of options.
I have traveled a bit, but never had the courage to move to a different country or continent. Still, I have dated men from different ethnic and cultural groups and have fond memories of our shared encounters, experiences, and relationships. Each one has enriched my life in small and momentous ways.
Congratulations for what you've accomplished. Wishing you continued success in love and life.
This is such a wonderful read and very timely for me right now as I pursue more long stays abroad.
Self-forgiveness with mistakes in love and what you mentioned about love languages and acts of service including a partner making life easier really resonated with me.
Cheers to more beautiful moments no matter where you land. ✨
It’s so interesting to read about your experiences! Long ago I came to the same conclusion you did, from observing my parents. They had such very different personalities I wondered why they were together. Then I realized they shared some interests and, most important, had the same basic worldviews and values. That’s what matters. Best wishes for your future dating!
As always glad to hear your perspective…and about your life aboard. I live vicariously through you. I have a passport…thank goodness considering what’s happening here in America…but I’m not sure where to head. Either way stay blessed.
It heartens me to hear that values and priorities held by a woman which are offensive to some men in the dating pool here in the US are considered basic by most men in other countries.
And I’ve been reading you for those 20 years! I am about to enter my 40s and I also date internationally and interracially. I am about to move to Spain, and have found your story deeply inspiring. Looking forward to hearing what (who?) dating brings into your life going forward 👀♥️

Thanks for sharing here!
Thank you for reading it. ❤️ It's all been an emotional and eye-opening experience. No person is perfect, nor is any country. ❤️
