This is absolutely beautiful, heartbreaking and inspiring. Thank you for your courage and dedication to your community. But most of all thank you for being in your truth. You’re a beautiful human. The world needs you.

I'm a CIS white female, 70 years old, and went to my first trans pride parade last weekend here in Asheville. I was overjoyed with the variety, love, creativity and palpable joy in the room (it was held in a small concert hall). You could tell everyone felt safe and free in those halls to express and be themselves in all their glory. Going outside after it ended I felt like I was walking into a cardboard land compared to full technicolor I experienced during the "parade". It pains me to read your words and how shut down your community, this community, is under this administration. It truly is horrifying. .I'm sorry your last day is June 30.

Thank you for the kind words, Polly. Freedom for trans folks truly does mean freedom for more people, like you’re describing in your experience of attending trans pride. I appreciate your kind words and support.

It is such a tragedy that your job and the care that your team offered have been eliminated. My son is alive today and thriving because he got the care that he needed. It's shameful how politicians can affect healthcare this way.

Agree this is absolutely life saving care. <3 So glad to hear your son is thriving today.
