The sly wit of this has impeccable timing, and the warm laughter, infectious!

Omg I can relate! At first it was just getting the basics for painting. But then I decided I wanted to do woodworking. And collage/scrap work. And jewelry making. And ink drawings. And copper etching. We couldn't access the clothes in our closet because there were too many boxes of stuff. Then I had to unfold an old card table to put more things there. It drives my husband nuts, but he has a point. I have so much, I should work with what I have, and combine these mediums in different ways to be creative. It was also costing me a lot of money, and literally weighing me down. I remember being like "why does my shoulder hurt so much? What's in my bag?" Empthing it out on the floor, I saw over 15 rocks thst i had collected for a diorama project. That was a moment of awakening for sure.
